Hello, my name is Tome.
This is quite sudden, but do you know the meaning of the Japanese word “Wa”? It writes “和” in Chinese characters.
For many Japanese, including me, this word is used to explain the Japanese style things.
For example, Japanese traditional food is called “Wa-Shoku”.
You may seen this word is used for current Imperial era name, we call it “gengo”, it is “Rei-Wa”.
This is consist of word “Rei” as beautiful and “Wa” as harmony.
Also, this word has a different way of reading. One of them is “nagomi”, it’s a feeling of calmness and relaxation, so this word remind us a peaceful image.
Having a busy life as a system engineer for about 10 years, I face to physically and mentally illness very often.
I started to keep in mind the “Wa” way of thinking, putting a little bit of flavor of it into my life changing me right now.
